In March of 2017 Shamrocks for Our Heroes event was born.  For the month of March the community is able to donate at local establishments to pledge their support for veterans and First Responders.  Each year a portion of donations will go to a specific local cause and the remainder will be put into the New York Riders Wreathes for Our Heroes project, so no hero will be forgotten.

The 2017 donation went to the Brewster Village Police Department for K-9 Falco and his cancer treatment.
